Dr Eeqbal Hassim

Dr Eeqbal Hassim is a well-published and sought after intercultural educator. Presently, he is Senior Manager for Research and Curriculum at the Asia Education Foundation. His intercultural education work includes UNESCO recognition and has been profiled in the media both nationally and internationally. Eeqbal works closely with Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) and sits on its General Capabilities Advisory Group.

Marion is a Director of her own business - Management Consultants and Technology Services. She is also the Deputy Chairperson of the Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria and chairs the Council's Aged Care Policy Committee, and is the Community Representative Commissioner of the Victorian Multicultural Commission.

She has vast experience in addressing the issues of ethnic health, ethnic aged care, women's issues and many other issues relating to access and equity for all migrants.
