There's no reason why you can't learn Spanish. It's taught in our schools (and is also available in the International Baccalaureate). It can also be learnt in distance mode or after hours through the Victorian School of Languages. Community Language Schools also teach Spanish on Saturdays. Adults can learn Spanish as complete beginners in many universities. The CAE also offers many courses in Spanish.
