Google world record smashed!

April 08, 2015

On the 27 March Bangladeshis united to add 700,000 words and phrases to Google Translate's Bengali translator. This smashed the previous world record of 400,000 words and phrases in one day. Google Translator is a free online translator for more than 90 different languages. Its ability to translate effectively is partly dependent on individuals adding words with accurate translations - all for free.
